Sean Johnson (born May 31, 1989 in Lilburn, Georgia) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer.

Johnson played college soccer at the University of Central Florida,[1] where he earned Member of the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and was named Team MVP in 2008. He left college early to enter the 2010 MLS SuperDraft as a Generation Adidas player.
During his college years Johnson also played one season with Atlanta Blackhawks in the USL Premier Development League.[2]
Johnson was drafted in the fourth round (51st overall) of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by Chicago Fire.[3] He was the last generation Adidas player selected in that draft. He made his MLS debut on August 1, 2010 during a 3-2 victory over Los Angeles Galaxy after earning the starting spot against Andrew Dykstra. In his rookie season he earned back to back "Save of the Week" honors. 3rd November 2011 it was announced that Manchester United have given USA and Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson a trial which will begin at the end of the MLS season in December.
On December 1st, 2011, Chicago Fire announced that Johnson would be training at Everton for a week.
Johnson earned his first senior cap for the United States when he entered as a halftime sub against Chile on 22 January 2011.[4]
Johnson was a member of the 2009 United States Under-20 squad. He appeared in one match in the CONCACAF Under 20 final round along with three friendly matches. He is the holder of dual citizensip with United States and Jamaica. He had a brief tryout with the Jamaican Under 17 squad in 2005 and Under 20 squad in 2008.
